About this Kete: Planning

This kete is for anyone involved in making decisions about the design and delivery of the curriculum in their organisation, and is designed to help make the move to e-Learning as straightforward as possible. It is focused on decision-making at the organisational level, not on the details of how to include it in a specific course. If you need guidance on including e-learning in a specific course, check out kete 3.

This kete is divided into two main sections:

Thinking Strategically
In this section you can explore the reasons for using e-Learning, and decide whether this approach will work in your organisation. We suggest you work through the Thinking Strategically section first. However, if you have already decided that e-Learning will work for your organisation, you can go straight to the section on Managing Change.

Managing Change
In this section you can learn how to develop a strategy for implementing e-learning in your organisation, how to manage the changes needed, and then how to evaluate the changes which have been made.

If you prefer not to work through this kete on your own, check out the PD options under 'Prof Development' in the menu at the top of this page.
